Kaydee and Zach

Our Fun Activities: Being outdoors- leaving the city for camping, hiking, or day trips to family farms, forests, and plant nurseries. Or staying close to home with nature walks where Zach teaches Kaydee about different plants and what makes them unique.

Favorite Meals: Sushi - Kaydee loves to load up on too much wasabi & Zach loves a sushi burrito - the best of both worlds! We also love camping food. Everything tastes better in the woods and we love Dutch oven cooking.

Can't Live Without: Our furry friends. We can’t claim to be dog or cat people - we love them both!

Favorite Place: Anywhere south of the border, which is where we fell in love and continue to grow our love for each other each time we are there. The vibrancy of the music, food, colors, and people make Latin America a special place in both of our hearts.

Best Day Ever: As cliché as it sounds, it’s a tie between our day of engagement and our wedding day. We got engaged in San Francisco on a warm and sunny February day. We woke up at dawn and walked for miles through the city -exploring everything from the gorgeous architecture, breathtaking views, parakeets of Telegraph Hill, Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, and so much more. It was already one of the best days of our lives, and when Zach proposed that evening before we went to the theater, it sealed the deal.

Our wedding was a true celebration of love and community with good food, family, friends, dancing and music. It even rained but luckily it cleared up shortly after and we had a spectacular sunset and the good omen of a double rainbow!

Favorite Family Traditions: Pumpkin patch + carving party, Christmas tree farms to find the perfect tree, group camping trips, and game nights.
