Our fun activities: Taking our pup Finch out for walks and hikes, weekend road trips to new places, outdoor grilling, cooking for friends and family, playing card and board games, weekend trips to the Farmers Market, and watching our favorite tv series and movies. 

Favorite meals: This is a tough one because we enjoy so many different types of food, whether it be trying new recipes at home or getting out to new restaurants.  With that said, Mexican food takes the cake for us both.

Can’t live without: Our pets (2 cats and 1 dog), a decent cup of coffee to start the day, and spending time out in nature as often as possible.

Favorite place: We love to travel and explore new destinations.  One of our favorite vacations was spent on the coast in Costa Rica with Jessica’s family.  We spent the week eating delicious seafood, surfing, rafting, and hiking in the jungle.

Best day ever: We took a road trip to a small town just outside of Mt. Rainier last summer to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and both of us remember it as one of our favorite days in recent memory.  We were still novice dog owners and hopeful that our pup could handle a 10+ mile hike— and he did great! After our hike we had lunch at a local outdoor restaurant, then spent the rest of the afternoon at our rental cabin enjoying good food and star gazing. 

Favorite family traditions: We go big for holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas! We typically host Thanksgiving at our place, and the following day have a tradition of going out to pick our Christmas tree at a tree farm. We decorate our tree while listening to Christmas music and cap off the night with Thanksgiving leftovers and a classic holiday movie.
